CALLING ALL DOGS!!!!! This year Bastrop opened the gates to a new City Park, Bastrop’s Bark Park. This park offers dogs a safe off-leash play area where their owners can enjoy a park-like setting and the chance to socialize with other canines and their owners. This park also provides many community benefits, such as promoting responsible pet ownership, providing elderly and disabled owners with an accessible place to exercise their companions and provides a tool for enforcement of dog control laws.
Bastrop’s Bark Park offers two fensed areas, one for small dogs and one for larger dogs. Your dog can play and exercise off leash in a safe environment.
